Introducing the STEM Bus: a fully converted double-decker bus designed as a mobile hub for learning, experimentation, and creativity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Mobile Science Laboratory
The lower deck of the STEM Bus is home to a fully equipped science laboratory classroom. This space has been designed with education and safety in mind, allowing students to take part in hands-on experiments, practical demonstrations, and immersive STEM lessons. Durable workstations, integrated storage, and a clean, modern finish ensure a productive environment that mirrors a traditional lab — all within a mobile classroom setting.
Learning Through Technology: The Upper Deck
Upstairs, the STEM Bus really comes to life as a collaborative, tech-focused learning space. The 3D printing and computer area is positioned on the upper deck, giving students access to cutting-edge tools for digital design and rapid prototyping. This area allows for exploration of CAD design, 3D modelling, and physical creation — helping learners understand how theory becomes tangible technology.
Designed for Discussion and Creativity
Also on the upper deck is a spacious group discussion and collaboration zone. Custom bench seating lines the space, featuring bold, STEM-themed upholstery. At the heart of the room is a bespoke Rubik’s Cube-inspired table, designed in-house to promote creative thinking and serve as a striking focal point.
This setup supports dynamic learning: a place where ideas can be shared, problems can be solved, and curiosity can thrive.

Sustainability and functionality were core principles behind this build. The STEM Bus is equipped with:
- Solar panels for renewable energy
- Running water for experiments and hygiene
- Air conditioning for comfort in all climates
These features ensure the bus can operate independently in a wide range of environments — from school grounds to rural communities and public events.
