School Classroom Bus Conversions
Additional classroom space, without the need for costly building works!
We’ve designed and built library buses, art studios, Special Educational Needs (SEN) spaces and more – all within single or double deck buses.
When it comes to deciding how best to use the additional space a school classroom bus offers you, it’s really down to the needs of your school. If your IT facilities could do with an upgrade, we can work with you to create a dedicated IT suite for use by all ages. If it’s mental health and wellbeing that’s a concern, why not create a peaceful safe space for pupils to take some time out from the busy school day and discuss any concerns with a dedicated member of staff.
Our experienced team can help replicate your school’s mission, values and even colour scheme to ensure your new school classroom bus really is an extension of your school.
Climate control systems
Concerns about access, power or heating? We have experience of creating fully accessible single deck vehicles to help promote a truly inclusive learning environment. We can tailor power supply to your needs, and we’re also able to install a full heating/aircon system if required.

Getting pupils involved
If you’re fundraising for a school classroom bus (or even if you already have the budget set aside), it’s a good idea to get your pupils involved with the project.
Why not run a competition to name your new bus? Or ask your pupils to get involved in designing the artwork for the exterior of the bus? It’s a great way to build excitement around the new project and can also give a much-needed boost to fundraising if pupils can start to visualise their unique new classroom.
Getting started
To begin your journey towards creating a bespoke classroom bus for your school, get in touch with our friendly team to discuss your needs.
As a starting point, it’s useful to consider a few initial thoughts to help us get started:
What size vehicle are you planning to convert? Do you already have it, or are you right at the beginning of your project?
What is the purpose of your school classroom bus? Will it be an Art Studio? A Science Lab? A library? Or just an additional learning space that can be flexed to your needs, as and when you need it?
What are your must-haves? Usually, schools come to us with a wishlist of requirements – it’s helpful to have an idea of what you absolutely can’t live without, and what are ‘nice-to-haves’?
And finally, what is your budget? When it comes to creativity, the sky really is the limit with what we can deliver, but it’s a good start to have an idea of the budget for your project, so we can discuss what can realistically be achieved.
