Blackpool Design Coachbuilders is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled and passionate Cabinet Maker / Coachbuilder to join our team.

We specialise in bespoke vehicle conversions and coachbuilding, creating high-quality, unique vehicles for a wide range of customers and exciting community projects.

The Role

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys bringing designs to life. The role will involve a mixture of cabinet making, joinery, vehicle interiors and coachbuilding, working on bespoke projects from start to finish.

Your work may include:

• Bespoke cabinetry and furniture
• Interior vehicle fit-outs
• Working with timber, plywood and composite materials
• Building and fitting storage solutions
• Working from drawings and measurements
• General coachbuilding and vehicle conversion work
• Working as part of a small, skilled workshop team
• Maintaining a high standard of finish throughout every build

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in cabinet making, joinery, coachbuilding or a similar trade
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Can read and work from drawings
• Is confident using workshop machinery and hand tools
• Takes pride in producing a quality finish
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Has a practical, problem-solving approach
• Is reliable, hardworking and keen to learn

Experience in vehicle conversions or coachbuilding would be an advantage, but we’re also interested in skilled cabinet makers and joiners looking to move into the vehicle conversion industry.
